Knowledge extraction & data quality

Turn a defined set of websites, documents or system records into a dataset that people can inspect and use.

Based in Frankfurt. Projects can be scoped across Germany; remote or on-site delivery depends on the mandate.

The task

Information is spread across sources, copied by hand and quickly becomes outdated. Duplicate organizations or contacts make reporting and follow-up unreliable.

Web crawling & knowledge extraction

Gateflow crawls only sources the customer has approved, or connect files and systems they control. The extraction model names the facts, their source addresses and how incomplete or conflicting values are recorded. The initial delivery can be a one-time source-to-record pilot.

Entity resolution & deduplication

Company and contact records are compared by selected identifiers and attributes. A high-confidence match can be proposed automatically; uncertain pairs go to a review queue. The merge policy preserves source links and records who approved a combined entity.

Continuous data updates

A separate operating scope checks for changed source facts, refreshes affected records and reports failures. The customer sets the review frequency and decides which changes need human approval before downstream systems use them.

What Gateflow delivers

  • A source and permission inventory with a target record model.
  • A repeatable extraction path with links back to source evidence.
  • Entity matching, duplicate review and approved merge rules.
  • A change-detection and refresh routine with failed-job alerts and an operating owner.

Delivery and acceptance

Gateflow starts with a sample and agrees which records count as correct. Ambiguous matches go to review. The final scope states refresh frequency, sources and error handling.

Where this fits

Useful when a company needs maintained company, customer or product facts and can authorize the sources.

What Gateflow needs to begin

The buyer supplies the permitted source list, examples of correct records and the fields that matter. Gateflow also needs to know which facts may be stored, who can review uncertain matches and how often the source is expected to change.

How Gateflow checks the result

A held-out sample is compared with the extracted records. Gateflow inspects source links, missing fields, false matches and duplicate decisions with the buyer. A refresh test must show what happens when a source changes or a crawl fails.

What the customer receives at handover

The project ends with the record model, extraction and matching rules, review queue, update schedule and failure alerts documented for an operating owner.

Current scope

Company knowledge search can be added when the underlying records and access rules are ready.
